What Happened to Sally Combs from Earth Shoes on QVC?

Sally Combs, a popular presenter for Earth Shoes on QVC, left the network in 2020. Her departure followed Earth Shoes’ restructuring, which led to her exit. While Sally was beloved for her product expertise and engaging presentations, her leaving was part of a business decision by the brand. Fans have expressed confusion and disappointment, but the decision was linked to changes within Earth Shoes as they adjusted their commercial strategy.

What is Sally Combs Doing Now?

Sally returned to the public eye shortly after leaving Earth Shoes. She joined LUG, a company renowned for its accessories and handbags. She was able to pursue a new career path due to this change, and she started hosting live programs for LUG on websites like Facebook. Sally is currently a member of a team that hosts Facebook Live broadcasts, where she offers exclusive discounts that aren’t available on QVC instead of conducting QVC presentations.

She performs in about three regular shows every week in addition to a few pop-up shows. Sally has expressed her happiness with her new position, mentioning the ability to work remotely and spend more time with her family as points out, especially since she has a young kid at home.

Sally’s Impact on QVC and Earth Shoes

Sally Combs played a significant role in the Earth Shoes brand’s success on QVC. She became popular among the audience with her energetic and entertaining presenting style. She had served as an online representative for Birkenstock and other well-known brands before joining Earth Shoes. Her beloved fan followers and viewers greatly appreciated her honest and knowledgeable advice, and they were extremely heartbroken and disappointed to see her leave Earth Shoes. Many said that, compared to her replacement, they missed her sincerity.

Fan Reactions on QVC Forums

Many of Sally’s regular viewers and loyal fans were dissatisfied with her sudden departure from QVC, and there have been a lot of discussions and debates about it on the QVC forums. What some admirers had expressed were as follows:

Sally was more than just the Earth rep on the Q. It was only a part of her job with Earth.
I believe COVID-19 was an excuse since Susan is doing shows remotely.
I have to say I’ve owned many Earth shoes for years, but in my experience, the shoes I’ve ordered in quite some time were either uncomfortable or did not meet the same quality. At least they offered free shipping on their website.
It may have been a business decision; it may have been her age; it may have been a way to cut out her salary; but in the end, if people are upset she is gone, that is fine. I enjoyed watching Sally and wish her all the best in her new career with LUG.

I miss her fun personality! My favorite and most comfortable earth brand shoes were the TSV peep toe snootiest. They are so great I ordered three colors! Goes great with most seasons! All the best to Sally! It sound to me from her video that she was left in the dark about her job status. Not good news for the brand! She was an awesome rep for their company.

I met Sally at a Lug pop-up giveaway where I work. She has the same great attitude, is very approachable and happy. I asked her why she left QVC and she said with earth issues she was away from home and her son quite often. So I’m sure it was a mutual decision between Sally and earth shoes.
